Most of their competitors cooked up quickly using that method, so this is certainly a minus point. The biggest first concern with these meat free sausage patties was the package recommends not to microwave them. We transferred these to a separate container for the freezer pretty much right away. Kroger is testing out a dedicated plant-based protein section in its meat aisle at some of its stores and is also launching its own line of meat substitutes.
